welcome, be my muse!

They’ve performed on many different stages including the Music Hall of Williamsburg, Bowery Ballroom, Mercury Lounge, The Box, Shea Stadium and the Hammerstein Ballroom. But one day you might walk to your train station in the Lower East Side and miss the subway for hours as the Stumblebums are playing at your track. Known for their spontaneous riotous shows, Smidge Malone (Trumpet, Vocals), Disco Ronnie (Tuba) and Jonny Ballz (Drums, Vocals) already supported artists including The Roots, Ween and The Black Lips.

The Time Out Magazine wrote “The Stumblebum Brass Band plays around the city quite a bit, and how lucky we are to have an upbeat, down-South trio to jump and jive to.” – so true. Last year, during Vogue’s fashion night out in Soho these three cats invaded the Anna Molinari store and turned the quiet champagne party into a riot. While Pharrell Williams was signing autographs in the Ice Cream Store, the waiting crowd outside started break-dancing and went completely crazy and amazed.

Forget about sight-seeing in New York City. If you get to rock with them, you’re in New York.
